New Pro and Amateur photographers I'm looking at

I've been looking for inspiration, and one of the things I like to do is check out what other photographers are doing, here are two Photographers I really like and admire.

Jeremy "Kurse" Rodgers from Alpha Dreams Studio, Kurse is an old grappling friend, we met via a Martial Arts forum we both frequented, and since, I considered him family, he is a really nice, easy going guy based in South Florida, you can see some of his sample material in his blog, but here are some of my favorites:

Luis "El MAcho" with his daughter Fuyumi

Luis, Fuyumi and Hiroko San

The other Pro photographer I've been checking out is Mr. Dustin Snipes, I really love his method of lighting and post processing. Also, his athlete's portraits have a very distinct feeling to them, I'll encourage people to check him out.

One Year

So, one year and a handful of days ago, we moved from sunny Florida (read: HOT AS HELL), to beautiful Virginia, and I got to say, it has been one of the best decisions we could have taken.

We took a leap of faith, and it paid off, we stepped outside our comfort zone and I'm happy we did. This link is for a video I made for my wife, it shows some of what we've been doing since we moved here

http://vimeo.com/19597344 (Funny fact, the song [as cheesy as it is], was playing on our first date, so I hope I don't get sued for using it without permission)

I wanted to thank all the friends who helped us move (Primo, Andre, Gabs and Michi, Wade, the Wertz here in VA), and I want to thank Kell for everything we have accomplished (God knows it is thanks to her that I do anything), and I want to promise her that things will keep changing for the better.

In that note, recently I decided that I need to reevaluate and change some things in my life in order to give her a better tomorrow (which she deserves, the woman works hard), I will go back to school (Applied arts (photography), and journalism major), my web presence will diminish (cancelled Tumblr, started a new Twitter page just to follow some photographers, and I will only use this blog to post pictures once or twice a week), and I'm downgrading my phone so I won't have web access in it. I wanted to thank you for your readership (all two of you), and I hope I will be able to be back in the future with more to share.

Many Thanks and Hope to be Back Soon
