So as I mentioned in my previous post, I've been pretty unmotivated for the past year, being busy preparing for a new born, and then with a new born, and then having a bout of "not being inspired creatively". I've been taking steps towards correcting that problem, and generating more content, but until that time, I figured I could go over some of the content created during this year of absence.
With that in mind, I wanted to share a bit of our experience photographing the little one for the past 6 months.
The first month we were just tired, I threw a light up with an umbrella, got everyone together (still in PJs), and shot. As time passed by (and our level of tiredness decreased), the setups got more elaborated (not necessarily "better", but certainly, more elaborated).
I, now, keep looking forward to the 23rd of each month, because it marks one more month of this little despot changing our lives (against our will, sometimes), and because it's another chance to be creative as we keep documenting the months of our, beautiful, daughter.
I can't finish this post without thanking the three women in my life. Isabella "Ella" Trujillo, we love you more than we can express with words, and I hope the images will show you one day. Patty, my partner in crime (and 75% of the best duo, ever), thank you for the best Christmas gift, ever. and Mochi "The Dog", thanks for being so patient with us, and the new addition to the family.
